I don't like it when I get bored, it's never intentional, but sometimes it happens.
My last attempt a long time ago was to put crayons through the hot glue gun to no success, I always dreamed about being a pyromaniac, so then I recently continued the thought to say, "what if I melted them with a flame?"
I depleted one lighter in the process, and burning a hole in my sleeve, it worried me that it only mildly engaged me for a short while. Maybe that's the problem with pyromaniacs, the entertainment is so brief!
I've had these glass beads for years now with no commitment to do something with them.
Now I have documented potential compositions, which means I have to solve how to connect them in between, fishing line? chain? ribbon? Do I care enough to follow through? That is the biggest mystery.
I had a phone call Sunday where one of the topics was about having idle hands could lead to trouble for me. I had to agree, it already burnt a hole in my sleeve!
So on another call on Monday catching up with a friend, my hands documented a 100 minute phone call. This is what resulted.
Oh Idle Hands, we can run into a creative rendezvous once in a while, but I hope I don't run into you too often! Idle is a state of mind I would rather not visit frequently.
